The Team

Our team is made up of highly motivated and professional people. Meet the team that will look after you during your stay with us in Spain. Thanks to all others involved that provide their skills and services, giving you the opportunity to ride your own bike in Spain.

Together we make up EnduroSpain.com

Rob Deacon has been riding bikes ever since childhood. Growing up with farmer friends there was never a shortage of places to ride field bikes or anything that had wheels and would move. Mountain bikes soon got hold of his attention and he began to compete in both Crosscountry and Downhill events. A complete move to Spain was planned to get away from the rain and Shropshire mud that seemed to never end. He quickly soon got into the Mountain bike scene with local Spanish riders and began to learn the new terrain and local hot spots. Between Rob and his brother Tom they set up a Downhill mountain bike holiday outfit DHspain.com, together they have been guiding bikers around the hills of Malaga. Tom has taken on the leading role now so Rob can concentrate mainly on new ventures. Through friends he then discovered that Enduro riding was very popular "I always wanted to swap over to Enduro when I turned 30, I dropped lucky meeting some great friends already into off road bikes" A new bike was purchased and now you can find Rob thrashing about the local trails most of the time. He has also started racing with fellow Guide Jon in the Andalucian championship and Endurocross events.

Jon, like Rob has been riding bikes all his life. He tells stories of how his Dad used to keep him off school so they could hit the local waste ground to ride their bikes. Jon has since raced both Track and MX events, he has also build some mad machines such as a nitrous Hayabusa. (like they need nitrous) Fed up with the increase in speed traps and dismal weather Jon also made the move to Spain. Working as a professional motor bike guide Jon has shown thousands of riders around southern Spain and the Canary Islands. He is a smooth rider and deceptively fast, he is always happy to offer advice if you need it. You can also be sure that he will pull you out of any sticky situation you might find yourself in. The job of ace mechanic has been taken on by Jon as he has years of experience and is highly skilled in this field. If a bike can be repaired track side, you can be assured he will have it up and running again in no time. Along side Rob, Jon also takes part in the Andalucian Enduro Championship, he is also hoping to better his 4th place gained at a local Endurocross event.
